Visiting the site

When you open the site, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system identifier. This is required to deliver the page and keep it secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation.

Server log retention: According to the platform provider, for a share of requests the IP address, the type of request and the status code are recorded for troubleshooting and stored for one month.

Hosting

This website runs on the website platform onepage.io. The provider processes the access data listed above on our behalf.

The provider is Onepage GmbH, Hanauer Landstraße 172, 60314 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. According to the provider the sites run on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, with all data stored exclusively within the European Union. The basis is a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, available at onepage.io/de/avv.

Waitlist

When you join the waitlist we process your email address, your consent and the time of signup. Entries are stored in the contact management of the website platform.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future, through the unsubscribe link in any email or informally to our contact address.

Your address is stored as soon as you submit the form, together with your consent and the time of signup. We delete your entry once the purpose no longer applies, at the latest after the Kickstarter campaign ends, or earlier if you ask us to.

We use the address solely to inform you about the start of the Kickstarter campaign, the price and changes to the schedule. There is no ongoing newsletter. Your data is not passed to third parties.

Email delivery

At present no automated email delivery is set up. As soon as we use a service provider for this, we will name it here before the first email goes out to the waitlist.

Contacting us

If you write to us, we process your details to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We delete the correspondence once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own for analytics or advertising. Through the cookie notice you can enable the categories Functional, Performance and Marketing. As long as you enable nothing, they stay switched off.

Your choice from the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser so the notice does not reappear on every visit. You can call it up again at any time and change your choice with effect for the future.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent one is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
